Why is pot illegal?

To this day, everyone (Besides government and media) knows pot makes people
tired, lazy, content, happy, relaxed, artistic, etc. Everyone know booze makes you
the same way but can lead to violence and stupidity. Everyone knows pot is safe
when used responsibly. So, why is it illegal - is it the pharmacy/alcohol/oil barons?

I've never understood this either. I've tried to come up with an answer many times, to no avail. Maybe one day we'll know.

well I fully agree with you wish it was as easy as waving a magic wand.But these jerks are pulling the strings on these puppet politicians I wouldnt doubt it if we never see it legalized

obama is for decriminalization which is a step in the right direction...that is if he gets elected
